GCPC 2016: KIT takes first place

The German Collegiate Programming Contest (GCPC) was held on the 04.06.2016. Team breaKIT (Daniel Ferizovic, Anan Schütt, Xuan Tung Nguyen) from KIT takes first place with 10 solved problems in only 941 minutes penalty time. Places two and three go to the Universität des Saarlandes. The problem set contained 13 problems and used many different topics from shortest paths to dynamic programming and three-dimensional geometry. 97 teams from 16 Universities participated this year. Further KIT teams achieved the 10th, 11th, 42th, 49th and 53th place.
