On Jan. 10, 2013, the faculty of Informatics awarded its 900th PhD since being founding in 1972. Dean Michael Beigel congratulated Frank Otto for his successful defense. Otto's PhD dissertation is entitled "Object-oriented Stream Programming"; his adviser was Prof. Walter Tichy.
